Dr. Robertson was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, and graduated from Jackson Prep High School. He received his B.A. from the University of Mississippi in 1986 as a chancellor and Dean's List scholar. In 1990, he received his D.M.D. degree from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Robertson was a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society, and a recipient of the Periodontics and Endodontics award. In 1992, Dr. Robertson received his certificate in periodontics from the University of Alabama.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Mississippi Association of Periodontists, the Mississippi Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, and the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry.
He has served as president of the Tupelo Dental Society, Trustee and president of the First District of Mississippi Dental Association. He has also been a Mississippi Dental Association Alumni Board member and a member of the Peer Review Committee.
Dr. Robertson and his wife Kim have three children. He enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid hunter, fisherman, and sportsman.
